How to delete contacts from ichat list?

How to delete contacts from ichat list?

Hi...can someone please tell me how to delete contacts from my ichat list? I have tried deleting these contacts from the address book, but their contact on ichat still remains. I dont care about blocking them, i just dont want their names on my list. thanks

Macbook pro CD/Iphone 8GB/Ipod 5.5 80GB, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

Hi

Highlight the one you want to delete and then goto edit in the menu bar and then click on delete, also highlight buddy then hit the delete key and then the return/enter key.
