Sprint PCS Treo 650 by palmOne and iSync???

I am a Sprint customer and like them. I am looking to buy a new phone that works with iSync. It looks as though the only compatible phone is the Treo 650. Is this true? And does it sync well with Apple's iSync?

I'm not sure what Spring offers, but the Treo 650 may be your only solution.

The Treo 650 works "ok" with iSync. You can only sync one address (Home only). You can't sync category names. You cannot sync the Memo Pad (although you can fix it with Missing Sync). But if you can live with all of the idiosyncrasies of the way Palm OS works with Mac OSX, it is a pretty good solution.

I'm not a fan of the Treo, but since you're committed to Sprint, it might be your best, if not only, solution.

Alternatively, if you are using Microsoft Entourage as your PIM, you can sync both contact categories and memopad/notes. Download the PalmOS Enourage Sync conduit from www.mactopia.com
However, syncing of one address per contact remains a limitation.

I use the Sprint Treo 650, and live in Apple's default programs AddressBook adn Calendar. I had several problems with Palm desktop mgr, with Hotsync and isync.

I now successfully use 3rd party "Missing Sync" in leiu of Mgr or isync. Most synch issues are resolved.

I use isync for my dotmac updates, only
