I tried everything too - the sucking did the trick!
Wow! That’s amazing! Glad it worked out for you.
I am absolutely baffled that that worked.. thank you so much!
Worked for me! Thanks a lot
I put my earbuds in a few times, cleaned out the jack, called it with a phone and left it on speaker, etc... nothing worked then I gave it a good slap on the back and it’s working again!

I found that by jamming a cotton swab up there worked pretty well
Omg the sucking helped!!!! Sucking is always the best solution, no matter what! Thanks!!!!
Success by sucking on jack -- cleaned it out. thanks.
Thank you so much!!! Nothing else worked...Plugging/unplugging 7/8 times didn’t work on my iPhone 6S+, but twisting it while unpligging did! Thank you so much
This was super helpful and work perfectly for me! As I sucked on the headphone jack I press the volume control and it’s switch back. Thank you!!!

[Edited by Host]The stickng in and out plus wiggle worked for my iphone 6s plus also i am getting me bluetooth wireless earphones now hooefully wont have this trouble again
I am wondering if there is any way to prevent this from happening. Anyone try tape over the headphone jack or a certain case that has a covering over that area?
