Aug 30, 2015 8:17 PM in response to ima747by Pomicio2014,Hi,
I just wanted to say that this has worked for me on the iPhone 6 Plus. This was the only method that worked after trying several things for several hours.
Thank you so much for posting this! Even after 7 years from your original post, it still works with the updated technology.

Sep 2, 2015 6:45 AM in response to SoCalSkippyby alvaro76,IMPORTANT.
hey guys i know the actual solution.
- Grab some toilet paper
- Make a roll, that emulate the headphone plug
- Introduce it into the iphone input
- Turn it several times
- Remove the paper roll
- (If it comes out really black and dirty repeat the process)
- Then plug the headphones
- And unplug it
It should work now, hope that this help you guys.

Sep 30, 2015 1:01 PM in response to SoCalSkippyby macprouser5080,Had a similar problem. Swiped up and selected apple tv rather than "Headphones" in Airplay and then selecting headphones again this solved it for me.

Oct 2, 2015 5:05 AM in response to SoCalSkippyby dnovakfhu,HHad the had the same problem last night with iPhone 6 in otter box. Had not used headphones recently. Decided it was software. Deleted last app I had loaded yesterday. "TV GUIDE". That fixed problem.
