Q: iPhone stuck in "headphones" mode

IMPORTANT.

hey guys i know the actual solution.

1. Grab some toilet paper
2. Make a roll, that emulate the headphone plug
3. Introduce it into the iphone input
4. Turn it several times
5. Remove the paper roll
6. (If it comes out really black and dirty repeat the process)
7. Then plug the headphones
8. And unplug it

It should work  now, hope that this help you guys.

I tried the plug in headphones 20+ and it still stuck on headphone mode........ i tried cotton tips and still stuck on headphone mode.. tried blowing into it and still stuck..... it was working 30 mins ago and now its stuck

that did not work for me... still stuck in headphone mode..... happen 30 mins ago

Tried this and stuck q-tips and tooth picis in didn't work. Then waited a few hours and kept sticking my beats headphones in and out of the port 15-20 times and it worked. Thanks!! Saved me a lot of time and money

This worked amazingly. But whenever I was sucking in hard on my headphone jack I kept hitting the volume buttons up down repeatedly and it worked too

Had a similar problem. Swiped up and selected apple tv rather than "Headphones" in Airplay and then selecting headphones again this solved it for me.

HHad the had the same problem last night with iPhone 6 in otter box. Had not used headphones recently.  Decided it was software.  Deleted last app I had loaded yesterday.  "TV GUIDE".  That fixed problem.

SSame happened to me today. Immediately this should and will work. Grab an electric duster or air can and use the straw/nozzle (I used a dust remover can)

I too had same issue. I was playing video on Whatsapp , i stopped it in middle n close whatsapp.

After 10 mins around my iPhone 6 gone to Headphone mode ( only God knows y ).

i tried all possible way out to get dis mode off but failed.

Then I inserted / removed headphone 2-3 times and guess what ? It's started working fine
