Motorola ROKR E1 Sync??

I know it is early, but I'm wondering if we can sync our data with the new "iTunes Phone". It has not been updated on the devices page.

I wouldn't hold my breath for an Apple branded phone anytime soon. RAZR is cool, but it's too big and bulky. The ROKR E1 seems to be pretty small and lightweight, but I do wish it was a flip phone.

That being said, if there is no iSync - it's as good as a phone with Windows Mobile software to me.. HEHEHE!!

I've searched all the sites and still don't know....

Sync=Yes=I buy a new phone and switch carriers to do so.

Sync=No=I continue to hate entering phone numbers and names into each of my phones as they die and Sprint replaces it with the next random phone on the extended protection plan.

If it works I will be so freakin' happy. 🙂

What a shame. I bet that was part of the "deal" with Cingular. So, why then does Cingular allow it for their other phones?? I am guessing that Cingular is locking down their Bluetooth just like Verizon does. I was looking forward to switching to Cingular for the fact that their phones are compatible with iSync.

I really hope that Apple addresses this. If they want to push a device that is convergent, then this is a necessity. Now, I guess we will have to wait until there is not only an Apple branded phone, but for Apple to become a Wireless Carrier. (Yeah, right).

This is very sad...

The Motorola web site seems to suggest that the phone can be synced on Mac OS X 10.3.6 or later :
"Gain your wireless independence. The new Motorola ROKR comes with built-in Bluetooth® functionality so you can talk freely on a wireless headset, sync up seamlessly with your PC** and other compatible Bluetooth® devices. NOTE: Bluetooth® devices are for voice calls only. *Only for voice calls. **Requires Mac OS v10.3.6 or later, or Windows 2000 or Windows XP."
