...or something like Back To My Mac?????

Considering Time Capsule will have an IP address (I believe), it should be technically possible to access the storage disk from anywhere.

MacBook Air is fenomenal, but it has a small HD. If it could access Time Capsule remotely, there would be no need for any larger HD!!! And no way to forget documents, even if you don't have another Mac that must be connected 24/7 to the Internet to enable Back To My Mac...

Any hope for that?

That would be cool. And it was exactly what I was waiting for in Steve's keynote..."but wait, there's one more thing you can do with Time Capsule..." I think he said something about being on the road and lugging a USB hard drive for Time Machine. Seems like the perfect fix would be to integrate Time Capsule and Back to My Mac.

Even thought I don't have a static IP but it does not change until I reboot my xDSL modem. You should try to connect to the IP assigned by your ISP, that is Time capsule's IP - run "Airport Utility", choose "Manual setup" there you find it.
On the Mac in your lab, pull down the Finder's "Go" menu and choose "Connect to server" and type afp://<your ip>. After enterng correct username and password TC should show up in the Finder.

1. Make sure you have AFP turned on (System Preferences > Sharing > File Sharing)

2. Make sure you have port 548 forwarded to the local IP address of your TC from your router.

3. If your ISP uses dynamic IPs, make sure you use something like dyndns.org to create a hostname that points to your ISP issued IP.

Then with the hostname you created from your ISP try afp://hostname and you should be set.
