Dave,
iGetter Uninstaller (Mac version):
If you want to uninstall iGetter you can use the iGetter uninstaller included in the iGetter folder. It will uninstall all iGetter components (browser plug-in, contextual menu plug-in, etc.) and will completely restore the Internet File Helper preferences to their default state.
If you want to uninstall only the iGetter browser plug-in simply turn off the 'Integrate with Internet Browsers' function from the iGetter 'Tools' menu. If you've deleted iGetter without turning off the integration function and you don't plan to use Internet Explorer anylonger you can manually remove the following files:
<Home folder>/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/iGetter Plugin
<Home folder>/Library/InputManagers/iGetterIMBundle
<Home folder>/Library/Contextual Menu Items/iGetterCMPlugIn
OBTW, since this is just a cut and paste from the iGetter web page I am not sure why they referred only to Internet Explorer. It should not make a difference which browser you are using when manually removing the files.
;~)
