I just got a new computer. I have all of my stuff on my Ipod from my previous computer. How do I get all the new stuff I want onto my Ipod with the new computer? I don't want to erase everything on my Ipod.
The proper way to upgrade to a new computer is to transfer all songs in your iTunes library to the new computer and then sync it to the new computer instead of the old one. An iPod should be synced only to one computer.
Hope that helps.
Thanks you for the info. If I only have my songs on my Ipod is there any way to put them in my Itunes library? If there is not do I pretty much lose everything in my Ipod?
Can more than 1 Ipod be used with the same computer? I have an older shuffle and just got a new one. I had to download the latest I tunes to have the new shuffle work, but now I can't access my older shuffle to transfer the songs.
Then it seems that there´s no way to recover the lost music. You can play the music and charge the iPod, but you can´t use the files on it or add songs as far as I know. I hope you made a backup of your music library.

You can't do this directly, from within iTunes itself. It can be done using any of a variety of 3P utilities which have been developed for this purpose. Two that I've used are iPodRip and Senuti.
Either of these will grab the songs from your iPod Shuffle and move them to a selected iTunes Library.
Sentui is the answer. I've used it many times to transfer my music onto my Mac. I only had an 80 GB hard drive in my iMac and 60GB of music so keeping it in iTunes was not possible due to other apps on my computer. When I installed a 160 GB hard drive, I used Sentui to put the music back on.
