I have the same problem. I just got back to the office after one week and updated all the new sw available and, as usual, something that used to work now doesn't. Since 10.4 I had to use an alternative package to make iSync realize about my 9500. Once installed it worked with the phone just fine (some minor problems on the Nokia that never affected the resulting sync).

But now, even if Bluetooth recognize the device as suitable for contacts and events (...and modem of course...) iSync can't add it in its list. Adding manually only brings to a sad message sain' the phone is not compatible.

My phone and my Mac are used for work.
Any guess Apple?

Have you re-installed the third party solution? I have a feeling that the Mac OS X update has overwritten something. I would do the following:

- unpair the devices
- uninstall anything about the third party solution that is still left (part of code or plugin).
- restart Mac
- install the solution hack again
- pair the devices

The problem is that Apple's iSync does not officially support 9300/9500 yet. However, Bluetooth technology works fine and you can send contacts and files one by one to your phone.

installing the dmg is only one step. you also have to copy icons for the phone in the folder:
Applications/iSync.app/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePhoneConduit.syncdevice/Contents/Pl ugIns/ _PhoneModelsSync.phoneplugin/Contents/Resources/

you will find some there:
http://www.resilion.be/kenny/stuff/noks80icons.zip

in addition you have to change code in the file MetaClasses.plist
you will find guides on google. i have it only in german.

after that you have to set up the phone with bluetooth and after this connect it in the adressbook also with bluetooth. when you start isync and search for your 9300 it should work.

for connecting your mac with the modem of the phone you need drivers
http://www.taniwha.org.uk/files/NokiaGPRS2004-05.sit
http://www.taniwha.org.uk/gprs.html
copy them to /Library/Modem Scripts/
i have not tested it.
