Question

reinstall firmware 1.1.3 on ipod touch

I have the following question.

I have successfully installed firmwareversion 1.1.3 and January update (extra programs) on my ipod touch. When there will be a problem in the future with my ipod touch and i have to reinstall the firmware, on what way the extra programms will be add back to my ipod touch, since i already have purchased the January update?

Same issue here. Hooked my touch to my laptop running XP and installed itunes 7.6. Upgraded to 1.1.3 and now my iTouch is an iPhone according to iTunes.

Too bad it has none of the features of the phone 🙂

I have a similar problem. I updated to 1.1.3 and purchased the January Update. I then performed a restore, which reinstalled the 1.1.3 firmware without the January Update. I then went into itunes, which prompted me about the Update, I tried another purchase (decidied to bite the bullet, but did not want to pay again), and the message "You have already purchased the updrade" was displayed. The end result is that I have 1.1.3 without the January Update, and I cannot reinstall the update!
