Syncing w/ the upcoming Treo 700/Smartphone

Not sure if everyone is aware but Palm is coming out with a new Treo at the beginning of the year and it is debuting with Verizon Wireless. The website for this is http://www.palm.com/us/company/?creativeID=RFB

My question is--this new product will be using the Windows Smartphone softwoare as opposed to Palm''s software. Does anyone have any idea on how this will work with Apple and iSync and what not? Will this be completely different then the way the Treo 650 works?

Because the Treo 700 is a Windows Mobile device, you'll have to use a third-party add-on package to synchronize it with Mac OS X:

I've been using a Samsung i730 for the past couple of weeks, and the Pocket PC software really is not very user-friendly. It is almost impossible to dial a call with with one hand, unless that number has been previously dialed. Almost every action requires the use of the stylus. Windows Mobile or Pocket PC seems to be fairly powerful if you're going to read Excel or Word files, but I wonder what percentage of PDA users actually do that.

My experience with Missing Sync with this phone has been abysmal. Their customer service, although responsive is a general sense, would take a day to reply to my trouble shooting. After two weeks of trading one email a day, and several requests to get a phone number to talk to a live person to troubleshoot my problems, I just had to give up on the phone and Missing Sync. Other Missing Sync programs have always run flawlessly for me.
