Quicktime (Error Code -1309)

i'm trying to tranfer quicktime movie files from a LACIE hardrive to a LA CIE PORSCHE
hardrive and i'm getting this error code.

fileBoundsErr = -1309, /*file's EOF, offset, mark or size is too big*/

This error is related to file transfer, not to QuickTime. It seems that the file size is too big to be moved.

thanks for the reply but there is more then plenty of space
on the hard drive to take these files.
I tried to move the files indivually but still got the same error code.
One detail that i failed to mention is that the receiving drive is used on
both Macs and PCs [didn't know that was possible] but the client tells me
that he never formatted the drive. Althought the 1st computer that it was
used with was a PC. Should i perhaps go on a LaCie drive Forum?

Sounds like the drive is formatted in Fat-32 which allows both mac and windows access but is file size limited.
