iPhone does not see my wireless network.

I have used my iPhone for a couple of days now, everything working fine. But last night, I got home and the iPhone does not even see that there is a wireless network present. Is there a fix for this? And I know that it has worked before on the same network and I have other wireless PCs in the house.

Custom, Windows Vista

After initially joining your wireless network, your iPhone was taken out of range of your network and it automatically joined the network when returning within range which has now stopped and when going to Settings > Wi-Fi, your network does not show up as an available network?

Standard troubleshooting steps in order are power the iPhone off/on, Reset, Restore.

If you have powered the iPhone off and on with no change, try a Reset next by pressing and holding the Home key and Sleep/Wake or On/Off key simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release. Ignore the slide to turn off prompt when doing so. This does not affect any data or settings.

If no change after a Reset, try resetting the network settings on your iPhone.

Go to Settings > General > Reset and select Reset Network Settings.

If this doesn't work, try a Restore via iTunes.

And if no change after a Restore, call AppleCare - (800) 694-7466.

Copied from my previous post:

When calling AppleCare, they will probably have you go through the same steps but you can wait until calling AppleCare before doing a Restore but just be prepared for it. Be sure to sync your iPhone first to update the iPhone's backup file if needed.

And if you call AppleCare, be sure to do so from another phone.
