How do I open Microsoft Works DB files (.WDB)

I am no moving over to my AppleMac full time. No more Parallels/Windows. However, I cannot open my many .WDB files.

Is there anyway I can do this directly?

I did go back into Parallels, copied the .WDB data into Excel, saved and transferred these, but when I open them in Numbers back on the Mac, the columns have truncated the information.

Any help gratefully received.

I don't understand what you mean by columns "truncating" information. Are you saying entire rows of data are missing? Or has the text in individual cells been partially deleted somehow?

I'm in the process of doing the same thing. First, I opened each spreadsheet on my PC and saved it as (SAVE AS) "Excel 97-2000[*.xls]. Then I copied all the spreadsheets with the .xls spreadsheets over to my Mac and easily opened them with Numbers.

The only problem I'm having is that some of my spreadsheets aren't opening because they're "too large." That's surprising because I thought Numbers spreadsheets could hold more rows than Microsoft Works spreadsheets.

However, I haven't yet taken the time to inspect my revised Numbers spreadsheets closely. After reading your comments, I guess I should take a closer look. 🙂
