SMAF audio and ringtones

I am trying to make my own ringtones and load them to my phone through my own web site. I have down loaded both the Wave Sound Decorator and the WSC-MA2 converter from the Yamaha SMAF developer site, as well as their player the MidRadioPlayer - which is the only Mac compatible .mmf player I've been able to find so far. I have been able to successfully convert a sound file into a SMAF file (.mmf) and created a web page that my cell phone (cingular LG C2000) can down load but the cell phone wont accept the file (unrecognized file type). Also, on my desktop, the converted files show up as either just "documents" when converted with the WSC-MA2 authoring tool, or as a "plain text document" when I convert them with the Wave Sound Decorator. When I try to access the file through safari (link for down load) it just opens it in a new window as text.

Does anyone have any experience or more success with this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Philip
