Perhaps my problem is the same as the person with the "Spastic Drag & Drop." When I want to select a group of columns or rows of a spreadsheet to change their width or height, I can't select them and NOT end up moving them. Well, I occasionally can, but more often it wants to move the cells instead of allowing me to just get the little arrows and change the dimension.

    Hi Ming Ming,
Here's what I do: Highlight columns B-C-D-E. Moving the mouse to the top between the columns, the courser changes to a small vertical black bar with an arrow left and right. Hold down the mouse drag to your desired direction. Yes it appears only one column width is changing however, when you release the mouse all highlighted columns will change widths.

    Hope I understood your question.

    Sincerely,

    Hello

Here is the way I do that

click in the column C's tab
    press [Shift]
with Shift depressed, click in the column K's tab
    leave the shift key.

Now columns C thru K are selected
click the vertical separator between tab C and tab D
    the "adjust width symbol appears
Move it to the left or to the right to get the wished width.

    Dear RicD & Yvan K,
Thank you both for your helpful answers. I think I was not waiting until the double arrow showed up and was dragging too soon.

    Both of your answers worked!
