Where is my Trash folder/mailbox with all the deleted emails?

Hi all,

Am in the process of switching to Mail from Entourage, and so am right in the learning curve (i.e. please be gentle... :-)). Have imported the emails, which seems to be fine (except for a strange "The message from <someone> has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it." message on some emails... to be figured out later...).

For now, though, I am looking for the Trash mailbox, and can't see it. The setting under Preferences/Accounts/Mailbox Behaviours is checked - to move deleted messages to a separate folder. Yet, I can't see the deleted messages.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Simon

Hi-

Welcome to Discussions!

The deleted mail should be visible in two locations. One, in the sidebar of the Mail window, in the Trash icon. The file will be found in (User name)/Library/Mail/POP-account folder/Deleted Messages.mbox. The name of this POP-account folder will be the name of your particular account with your provider.
