Each time I print, the next time I print a document, it shows in the printer dialog box, "Looking for Lexmark E250dn". If I remove the printer, then add it again, I can print one time, and then on the next job, I get the same error.
I have the same problem every time I print something in the print queue it says "Looking for hp color LaserJet 4600 (0001E6A2A8ED)" Most of the time it eventually finds it and prints but sometimes it either takes a really long time 10min+ or doesn't find it at all. The printer is networked to my computer thru ethernet the computer and printer are plugged into a linksys switch and the printer has a static ip address. I never had this problem before upgrading to Leopard.
This just started happening to me after upgrading to 10.5.2. When I add the printer to the list I can print to it once. The second time I try to print to the same printer I get "Looking for HP Color LaserJet 2605dn". I have to delete and add the printer again to print.
This did not occur prior to the upgrade!
