Airport extreme - can't scan - see it on scan from wired Mac

I have a Mac mini (10.5) connected to the Airport Base station - extreme. When I scan for it to look at the config, scan and rescan don't find it. If I go to the drop down and config another, works or. Also if I open the config no problem.

What did I do wrong ?

I have the same problem. Everything works, but Airport Utility just can't find it

MAGIC us the ethernet port next tot he WAN port. Worked on the first try.........

My solution was different. It was connected using ethernet to begin with.

I had to change the router's name, but printer connected to it was still under the old router's name. Once I deleted the printer and re-add. The Airport Utility sees the router again.
