Yamaha EZ-AG Midi Guitar Controller

Greetings! I have set up a basic environment with a transformer to rid the Yamaha EZ-Ag of low velocity-fret-tap notes and it works reasonably well (certainly better than my Godin rig); according to the KVR forums there are a number of programmes for the EZ AG BUT these are for Windows. Does anyone have any suggestions / environments that I can use to make my Yamaha EZ AG a better midi controller?
