Installing Mediagate with Mac

I cant anywhere on the Internet to give me instructions on how to install the Mediagate 350HD with a MAC.

I have downloaded the software and installed it but I still can not see the Mediagate on my computer. I am sure I have the wireless router installed and setup right (e.g. setup wireless component with password etc).

I am using an airport extreme router with my Mac in which I am trying to get the Media Gate to connect to.

Pleeease help - sooo frustrating!

I had purchased a Mediagate 350HD, and spent countless hours trying to figure it out. I was finally able to get it to work by enabling it as a FTP server, and then using FireFTP to transfer a movie to it, though, it never did actually show up on my mac. However, minutes later, I got the "blinking blue light of death" and my external HDD with all my media was suddenly unreadable! Those things are so buggy, I decided to not **** with it any longer, and I sent it back for good. I just ordered a mac mini to use as a media player, and while there still seems to be complications to overcome, in the end, it'll make far more sense than the MG. i did look extensively into getting an AppleTV, and it seems that if you have any hacking skills at all, you can get it to be way cooler than the mediagate, and for about the same price. The only reason I didnt get the ATV was that none of the Apple stores that I went to had a decent looking movie loaded to show the product off; the resolution looked horrible on every single one. anyway, sorry I cant be more help, there are plenty of tutorials and forums about hooking those suckers up. But I didnt have much luck with it!
