After Effects error: opening movie - you do not have permission to open thi

There is a serious bug with this Version of QT see adobe forum.

Do not upgrade QT to 7.4 on a mac for After Effects CS3.

Is there a patch in the pipeline or at least a company announcement?
Any one else spotted it on this forum

This has worked for me - your milage may vary. All I did was to use the "collect all files" function in AE and aim it to another folder on another drive. It worked fine after that. I imagine the permissions were then set anew in the new folder/drive to AE and QT's satisfaction, whatever - it worked first time for me and ever since for that project.
