I think i know what the problem is but i don't know how ot fix it. When i first plug in the iPhone it finds out what type of device it is. Everytime i plug in my iphone it recognizes that its a digital still camera. Is there a way to somehow fix this.

JakeWeber28,

If you do not want that prompt coming up when you connect the iPhone, while the iPhone is connected, go into your Control Panel, and open Scanners and Cameras. Right-click on the iPhone and go to properties. Under the Events tab, there will be an option to "Take no action" when the camera is connected. This will stop that window from coming up when the iPhone is connected and you have pictures you've taken with the iPhone.

If you are still having trouble getting your iphone recognized on your computer, you may want to follow the troubleshooting steps in this article:

Hope this helps,

This indicates your iPhone contains photos captured by the iPhone and if so, your iPhone is also detected as a digital camera when connected to your computer but this shouldn't prevent your iPhone from being available in the iTunes source list.

You should import these photos from your iPhone to your computer and then delete the photos from the iPhone as with any digital camera. Any of these photos that you want available on your iPhone can be transferred from your computer to the iPhone as with any other photos available on your computer via the iTunes sync process.
