Sorting Contacts from outlook by last name instead of first

Sorting Contacts from outlook by last name instead of first

No matter what I do with my outlook settings, when I sync my itouch the contacts appear sorted by first name rather than last. I have followed every instruction in outlook under "display the contacts list in Lastname, first name format" but the itouch pays no attention . Any suggestions??

You need to set the sort and display order on the touch itself.

From the iPod touch manual...
"*Setting the Sort and Display Order*
Use Contacts settings to set whether your contacts are sorted by first or last name, and to set the order in which the names are displayed.
Tap Settings > Contacts, then tap Sort Order or Display Order and select “First, Last” or “Last, First.”"

Thank's That fixed the problem in one minute. I worked all afternoon trying everything else that didn't work.
