how do u fix a frozen ipod?? HELPPPP!!!

Ok i re stared my i-pod cause it was frozen. it comes up wit an apple symbol and then has a red X in the screen. i try to do that disk thing, but it just dosent work. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME??

Have you tried plugging it into your computer to see if iTunes can connect to it?

Try going into disk mode to see if that work. Press the center button and play at the same time. Then hook it up to your computer. See if that works.

OK...so, the only thing I can think of is letting the battery drain and seeing if it will connect. The iPod will ask you to connect it to a power source. Hopefully that will work.

I'm not quite sure since your iPod is turning off. I'm fresh out of ideas.

I'm surprised that you can't reset it and put it into disk mode according to this article: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93651
