Archive iPhoto Book?

I created an iPhoto book for a client of mine. The project is done and printed and I want my to get my client's photos and book out of my iPhoto. But I don't want to permanently delete everything in case I ever need to get it printed again. Is there anyway I can archive the photo book? I tried the third party program iPhoto Library Manager but "Projects" don't even show up in that program.

If you search you will find old Toads discussions of archiving books

Basically once you have done a book the only way is to make a copy of the iPhoto Library, switch to the copy (start iPhoto with the option (alt) key depressed) and delete everything except the book project and its photos

He recommends using IPLM before you do the book to create a new library only for the book and then use IPLM to move the photos you want in the book to that library then make the book and when you are done you are done - switch back to the main library

the details are here - http://web.mac.com/toad.hall/OldToadsTutorials/No._9a.html

When you duplicate your entire iPhoto Library you will have the book and all the photos in the duplicate libraty - his tutorial tells how to easily delete the photos that do not pertain to the book you want to archive leaving only the ones you do want - the book itself is there as a part of the duplicatie library

Got it! I was not pressing option when starting iPhoto.

So I now have my "Book Library" but the strange thing is it's still 4.94 Gigs (which is the size of my original library) but I deleted all photos out of iPhoto that aren't being used in any of the books. Not a big deal. I guess the iPhoto library continues to hold all the photos even though they were deleted out of iPhoto.

Lesson learned... All future books for clients will be created under a different user so their photos aren't all mixed up with mine!

Thanks for the help!
