MMS viewmymessage

Does anyone else find the viewmymessage thing completely broken? Ok, so the iPhone doesn't support MMS yet, and that's fine... but when someone does send me one, I get a SMS telling me to go to a certain web site, type in an id, then type in a password - but it seems to me that someone forgot the fact that the iPhone doesn't have copy/paste. So.... I find myself having to write down the id and pass on a piece of paper to then use on the site. Does this workflow bother anyone else?

Seems to me that an easier interim solution would be to configure at&t to not send that SMS, but send me an email to an address that I configure on my at&t account info. That way the hyperlink could have all the id and pass in it and it would just be easily clickable (for launch into Safari). I would still get the notice that I have a MMS waiting for me, but it I would just be notified via email instead of a useless (and actually quite frustrating!) SMS.

Thoughts? Can anyone guess as to why they implemented that terrible viewmymessage id/pass SMS in the first place?

I think this is one of the most frustrating non-features of this program. Here we have this AWESOME screen for viewing pictures, and we can't even receive them, OR send pics we take with the camera? AT&T is wayyyyy behind technology with this one.

And I don't always get my login/password to work either ... THEN it comes up on the screen tiny anyway. What gives? grrr

Yes!
I have read countless threads and posted several discussions about this. Most of my discussions were deleted quickly for some reason, I swear I didn't say anything derogatory of insulting! I just want an actual logic explanation why these 2 features are unavailable. Surely there is one?

Lack of MMS and cut n paste is so baffling to me, but when they intertwine like this it's VERY annoying!

If MMS must go through several steps as such, at least let us click the darn link! I recieve countless MMS, being such a common, widely used app after all, really miss sending them after so many people confessed to not taking the steps to open anything I send.
I have a huge folder in my inbox for a rainy day when I actually have time to sit down with a legal notepad and write down all the passwords and open them!

So sad: MMS & cut n paste are standard with any cheap-o phone, love the iphone just totally confused about these features omitted. FYI, yes I already sent feedback to apple
