I want to move a movie taken with my Sony Digital camera onto my Touch. The camera saves it in AVI format. I have tried to import or move the file to my Itunes program, but it won't seem to transfer. Does Itunes and Itouch support AVI movie files?

And now in English ... no. But you can get freeware called Super C (the C should be the copyright symbol) which will convert the avi file into an mpg4 that the touch can run. Of course, only to be used on your homemade videos.
No Mac version but you can get a program called Handbrake for the Mac that does the same thing. If you Google you can find many converters for both the Mac and the PC and a good majority of them are freeware.
Thanks Dave. I actually do use Handbrake and iSquint (Visual Hub) from time to time. Super C looked like another good possibility to check out, but won't do me much good I guess.
