Uninstalling CS2 package

The first way is to trash the following:
Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS2
Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CS2 Settings
Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CS2 Path
There are lots of other little files, that CS3 will ignore or overwrite.

The second way is to use AppZapper [(www.appzapper.com])
You can download a free trial.
Drag the CS2 app from the applications folder to the AppZapper window; it will locate everything else that needs to be removed. Then hit ZAP.

One other note; you may want to deactivate CS2 before removing it; you never know when you may want to reinstall a version of it on a machine. Especially since CS3 currently has some problems with Leopard, which will supposedly be fixed in 10.5.2.

I have CS2 and CS3 on my G5 and am wondering why bother removing it at all?

Genuine Fractals wanted to charge to upgrade for CS3 compatibility and since I have no desire to pay for that "feature" I use CS2 to enlarge things and edit in CS3.
