Microsoft word: size of document on screen

Hi,
I have installed word on my macbook but can not work out how to increase the size of the documents (which right now are tiny!!). There is a full screen option but this does not actually increase the size of the document on the screen.
I have asked at my local Apple store (there was a microsoft trainer instore that day too)-neither the Apple guy or the Microsoft guy could work it out.
Hope someone out there can help....

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.1)

If I understand your question, have you tried to 'Zoom'? On your standard bar, click on Zoom and increase it to 100% or more. It is usually on top of a screen. If you don't see it go to Tools>Customize>Customize Toolbars/Menus... and open Standard box.

Thanks for your reply, the zoom increases the font size but not the actual window size...which is still tiny. The window is only about the quarter of the size of the screen, I would like it to be the size of my macbook. Any further advise very welcome

Just go to the bottom right of the document where you will see 3 little lines. Click on that and drag it across the screen. After that you can customize the zoom setting to 200%. That's how I do my school work and it is plenty big and takes up the whole screen.

Thanks, zoomed to 250%, which was even better! It had been really annoying me, so thank you so much.
