Is B&H Photo a good place to purchase cameras?

I couldn't find anywhere else to post this question...so I hope someone knows! I'm getting into video and I'm looking at the Canon GL2. There's a lot of online scams around and I was just curious how respected B&H Photo is. Thank you!

Yes. They are completely honest. In New York City, they are the place people go for cameras. Hundreds of people every day. They have most everything in stock, the service is very good, and the prices are about as low as possible. Buy with confidence. I know many serious NY film makers buy their personal cameras there.
I also go to J&R in New York City on Park Row. Excellent prices and completely honest-huge but family owned. They are also open 7 days week while B&H is closed Saturdays.
Adorama in NY is a favorite too.
If you can, go to each store. Check out the prices, the vibe and go with what you like best.

Just another good word for B&H. They shipped things extremely quickly and their prices were good. One time I ordered a camera strap, and the one I received was a bit on the "old" side (like it had been sitting in a bin for years), and it had a small crack in a plastic piece. They replaced it no questions asked and didn't even ask me to return the defective one.
