I know how to use stickies, but when i restart my computer i need to go to find/machelp/stickies/stickies and then click on the link to get them on my desktop. How do i get them to stay on my desktop after shutdown.
Add Stickies to the *open at Login* window in *System Preferences*. You can also open Stickies and then right click the Dock icon and pick the *Open at Login* choice. Any stickies that were open on shutdown will now be open on startup.
ok mort...you are speaking to someone very tech deficient, i don't know how to right click and i don't know how to add it to system preferences. do you wish to elaborate. Remember explain as to a 5 year old.
If you open stickies it appears on the dock. Put the arrow on it and hold the ctrl key while using the track pad button. This will bring up a little window and then you can choose the * Open at Login* option.
