iWork update will not install!!!

Question

iWork update will not install!!!

The updates for iWork '08 will not install. First dialog box message reads, "Software update could not expand the package correctly." I click "OK" and the next message reads, "An error occurred during installation." I restarted, repaired permissions, but to no avail. Anyone having the same issue?

I guess that you moved the apps out of the "iWork '08" package.

All the applications are located in the appropriate space--inside the "iWork '08". Or:
Macintosh HD > Applications > iWork '08 > Keynote, Pages, Numbers

Hello

Look in the other threads dedicated to the same question (it seems that nobody take care of terms of use).

At least you will see that you aren't a single victim.

On my machine I downloaded the three updaters without applying them.

Then after quitting all other apps I ran the three updaters and they worked flawlessly.

Once on my G5 and once on the iMac Intel Inside.
