Vienna Strings in Garageband player?

Does anyone know how to get the Vienna Strings samples to show up in the Garageband player in Logic? I tried moving the instrument files in to the Garageband folder but that didn't seem to work.I can use them in the ESX player fine.

Thanks in advance.

I don't use Garage Band. But if your version of the program is newer you can load any 3rd party audio unit plug in. It's done by opening the disclosure triangle that reads "details" found in the lower right hand corner of garage band window.
Then click on the blue arrows next to "generator". Below the heading "audio unit modules" will be listed all of your third party instruments. The pencil found to the right will open up the user interface of the instrument. There you will find all of the presets as well. I think you need to change the name and icon manually in the track.

I am not sure if the instruments within Logic are on offer there as I don't use GB. But the third party stuff is there (BFD, RMX, Synthogy, Etc) so I don't see why Logic's instruments wouldn't be as well. Try it and see if the EXS is listed. If not you will need to use another sampler (Kontakt?) to play your Vienna samples.

I misunderstood. Sorry.
I don't have Vienna. But don't you need a sampler to play Vienna (EXS or Kontakt)?
If so ... load a sampler as the instrument and use it to play Vienna.
I am talking out of my hat here as I don't use GB and don't have Vienna.
Maybe re post on GB Forum??
Anyway .. best of luck.
