Lost my Iphone contacts, when I Synced music!

Lost my Iphone contacts, when I Synced music!

I synced my music and when it did lost all my friends and families phone numbers. I went into apple backup for that day and tried to get my contacts back that were highlighted as being in backup, but I think i did it wrong and now i lost them. Is there a way to get my phone numbers back?

Do you have them stored in your address book as well? If so you could sync from there.

I had the same exact problem happen last night when I added a few new albums. I had always synced my contacts with my address book, and when it did this, it erased my address book as well. I'm guessing since time machine was a big part of leopards release, there is no way to go back to my address books state from prior to the incident is there?

I just had this happen to me. I plugged in my iphone and sync paused for a while then resumed and when i looked into my contacts -- they were gone. my address book on my mac is erased as well. What happened and how can I get them back from .dotmac?
