Gmail not working in Mail app

Hi,

I've been having problems with the mail application provided in 1.1.3
I created a Gmail account with all the correct details, it retrieved mail the first time but now nothing happens?

If I open Mail, it says "checking mail" for a while and either hangs there or claims to receive 6 messages (which are not displayed in the inbox). I've also tried setting up my account as "other" and using IMAP (which has been enabled under settings in Gmail).

*Has anyone else been experiencing these issues? and if so do you know a solution?*

Windows XP, iPod Touch 16GB, iPod Nano 2GB

Hey VIPea7,

Are you removing the emails from the Gmail server with another application like Outlook? Try testing(send yourself an email) after quitting Outlook or turning the PC off. Outlook may not be configured correctly or may have been setup to not leave a copy of the message on the server.

You can also try restoring the iPod touch.
