iTunes Activation Error from Audible.com
I looked on the audible.com website for support, and learned that this error message occurs for 1 of 3 reasons, none of which apply in my case (they are:iTunes is damaged - but I have reinstalled iTunes twice so I don't think this is the problem; 2) using a vpn (virtual private network) which I'm not - I'm using ADSL connection in my home; or 3) audible server is down (which it's not).
I called Audible - the customer help guy changed my password and deathorized all prior computers, but the problem persists. He referred it to someone else who might know, but they never got back to me. I've sent countless emails - no responses. I am going to call their customer service again, but the problem is that I'm currently overseas and I don't want to spend hours on an international call. I am hoping that someone here has encountered this problem and can offer some help!
