Waveform Dissapeared

Hello,
I am having trouble viewing the waveform in the timeline. Waveform viewing is enabled and if I zoom in to the closest setting, I can view it. The funny thing is, when I open the project in another user account, I can view it fine at any distance (zoomed in or out). However, when I open it in my current account, all I see are "x"s across the audio portion of the timeline (unless I zoom in very close). Any suggestions would be great. Thank you.

You could try 2 things.

1.) Toggle Waveforms (Command Option W) off and on.

2.) Clear the waveform cache. The cache can be located by going to the System Settings menu (Shift Q) and looking at where the Waveform cache is set to. Then navigate to that folder using the Finder, and clear out any cache files that reside in that folder. FCP will rebuild the cache files once the project is launched.
