I'm tring to send a single photoshop file to a client, it's zipped but still just over 10mb. Mail will not send it, says it to big, what's the deal? Solution please?
Hi Abe,
Welcome to the forums.
Mail should not prevent you sending a large file. In fact it is most likely that either your mail server or your client's mail server has a filesize limit defined.
Limits are often set at 2, 3 or 5 MB. If you received an error mail in reply to teh mail you sent it will probably advise the limit.
If you regularly send large files you might want to look into using FTP instead of Mail. DotMac provides a decent FTP service.

I don't believe it is mail, most likely it is your email server saying "too big", I have sent email using my email servers with files as large as 50 megs and not had one problem. I would check on your ISP's website and see what it says for the limit. Most providers set limits like 5 megs or 10 megs. Most likely this is what it is.
