Does anyone know how to rearrange the order that the contact phone numbers are in once you find the contact you are looking for?? I sometimes have a contact with Mobile number is first and then I have another that the home number is first.
I don't think you can do anything once the contacts are created other than go in and delete/recreate the numbers and use a standard order. But they are in the order you created them and you can control that. In my case, mine are in the order of the number I use most - so husband is in sequence cell first, then office but my boss is office first, then cell. But since the phone type is user selected, they just go in the order you created them.

Is this really true? My Address Book contacts were a bit jumbled on my mac and I spent an hour or so organising them, but they are still jumbled on the iphone even after a hard restore.
When I updated the software on my iPhone to 1.1.3, something went wrong during the restore process and ALL of my contact phone numbers were reversed. So now, rarely used numbers like fax numbers are at the top and the most common numbers, like cell phones, are at the bottom. This is for hundreds of contacts, so I would like to be able to go in and re-order the numbers to fix them rather than delete and recreate them one at a time, especially if this happens again. A simple feature under the contact edit menu to change the sort order of the telephone numbers would be a huge benefit.
