I have approximately 40 podcasts stored on my ipod currently. When I go to "Music" in the main menu on my 30GB, under "Artists," "Albums," and "Songs" all of my podcasts are mixed in with my music. This is very annoying because I often just want to listen to Music or just podcasts. I would prefer to ONLY have my Podcasts stored under "Podcasts." Is there a way to accomplish this? I am in the process (tonight) of transferring my library from my Windows XP based notebook to a new Vista Premium notebook - when I do the transfer should I do anything special to fix this issue for me (if it is fixable)? Thanks
Yes I was wondering the same thing because I use my iPod on shuffle all the time in my car and I always have to skip my podcast then it's marked played even though I only listened to 2 sec of it.... Thanks for helping us!!!
I don't know of any way to keep the podcasts out of your Music files, but if you like to shuffle music and don't want podcasts to play when you do, select your podcasts and right-click, select Get Info and then put a tick next to Skip When Shuffling.
