How to get to reset nvram screen manually

Sorry, I couldnt find the G4 forum. How do I get to the white cursor screen to reset the nvram on a G4 powermac. I've done it before and have the inputs written down but dont know how to get to the screen. Any help???

PowerBook G4 15" 1.25 Ghz/ G5 iMac (Intel), Mac OS X (10.5), 2 ghz Ram, 100g HD, Airport Extreme, CD/DVD-RW/ 2 ghz Ram, Dvd-burner

Restart your Mac and immediately hold down the Command-Option-O-F key combo until you see a somewhat intimidating command-line display that ends with the Open Fimware prompt. Type the following line:

reset-nvram
press the return key on your keyboard
set-defaults
press return
reset-all
press return
Your Mac will reboot.

I tryed that command before and after startup chimes and can't get to the terminal window. It just starts up normal. I'm running Leopard 10.5.1

Hi offtheroad,
I'm not totally positive about this, but I believe I read here that that command does not work on Intel Macs. I was directing the advice to a G5 PPC owner; you have Intel.
Did you ever get the problem fixed where you get e-mails of all my posts?

I hate to admit it but was an operator error on unsubscribing. So how do we MacPro intel people reset nvram? Oh thank you for remembering.

I believe a SMC reset takes care of that, but I could be wrong. I would reset the PRAM after that.

SMC for Intel iMac.

SMC for MacPro.
