Changing font in ebay listings

This seems a ridiculously simple thing to be struggling with, but I was selling some stuff on ebay and I couldn't change the font of my listing. I can select 'show fonts' by right clicking and choose any number of font styles, sizes and colours, but I cannot see how to then apply that to the selected text. Similarly on these posts although I can select bold, italics and underline from the box above I can't seem to do any more than that for the same reason.
Am I missing something obvious?

Without stating the obvious I think you might have better luck on ebay for this : ). That said you can create a description in a text editor outside of the ebay/box you are speaking of and then save the description as an HTML document. Then simply cut and paste the HTML version of your description into the box ebay provides you for description.

Hope this is what you are looking for...
