Comparing documents in Pages?

given the structure of a Pages document:

a -- a subfolder named Contents and an other one named QuickLook.

b -- several picture files corresponding to images inserted in the document.
When the doc is in good health, double clicking these files open them in their creation application.

c -- index.xml.gz which is a packed version of the XML file describing our document.
If we double click it, it expands as index.xml which may be read in any XML aware application.

I assumes that comparison requires that the packed xml files are expanded then you would be able to compare the XML files themselves.

It's been a long time since I did it, but the command "diff" in the terminal should be able to help you, if you apply it on file by file in the package.

For more info about diff, type
