how do u put "notes"on ur ipod?

what are "notes" anyways?

    To quote one of the articles below, notes can be "Grocery lists, to-do items, driving directions, a cheat sheet that details your blind date's interests—if you can type (or copy) a note, you can take it with you on your iPod and refer to it as often as needed. Just remember to keep your notes fairly brief—you can cram in up to 4096 characters (4 KB total) per note":

    First, save the notes in plain text, by going to "save as," then "format," "plain text". Next, you have to make yor ipod into a "removable disk" which you might have to search for because I don't remmber how to do that. Then, put the files into the "notes" folder and that might work..if not i can figure it out
