Does G4 have firewire Port?

I'm pretty new to the whole world of Apple and Macs. I've got an 800 mHz Power PC G4. This computer I know for a fact has the slower USB ports (i.e not 2.0). I'm just wondering if there is a firewire port on this computer. I've never used fire wire, but I'm using various scanners at this point and I noticed, using the USB port make for some very slow scanning. I don't even know if the Canon Pixima that I have can use fire wire, but I'm thinking that if it does, using the fire wire port on the G4 in conjunction with the Pixima scanner, will speed things up.
And, if this computer does have fire wire, when shopping for a new scanner, I can make sure the scanner has a fire wire connection. Does that make sense?

Oh wow! That is terrific. Thank you so much.
This graphic brings up another question I have - but one which may not be appropriate to ask here.

The audio output (other than the head phone jack): do you think there is much of a difference between the signal coming out this jack as opposed to the head phone jack?

Right now, I've got a stereo cable inserted into the head phone jack, the other end of which branches into two RCA male jacks. These, I have plugged into the input of a Rotel Stereo Pre-Amp which then feed a Hafler Power Amp. The power amp powers two Paradigm speakers and this system sounds pretty good.

The only reason I did not use the other audio port is because it requires such an unusual audio jack.

The Apple Pro Speaker port is very high powered and cannot be connected to anything other that the Apple Pro Speakers (which came with some but not all iMac G4s). Apple Pro Speakers are pretty good actually, definitely better than the internal ones on the current Alu iMacs. The port is high power so no separate supply is needed, connecting anything else will damage that device and has been known to cause major problems with the iMac itself - there's a reason the port differs! Pro Speakers are widely available on ebay. A close version of them used USB as the connection but these where the ones for the Power Mac G4 Cube.

cheers
