My iPod is locked up, stuck on a screen that says iPod diagnostic.

My ipod mini is stuck on a screen that says ipod diagnostic. I can run all the test but nothing I do will get me back to the main menu. I have tried to reset it, hold the middle button for 6-10 sec. Also, when I connect it to my computer, it doesn't recognize it. Any help would be great!!
