During my initial iPhone configuration I got a prompt asking if I wanted to sync my iPhone calendar with my Yahoo! calendar, which I chose not to do. I now changed my mind but cannot for the life of me find this setting/option on the Iphone again or figure out how to do it. Please help! I don't use outlook at all, all my email and calendar are through my Yahoo account. thanks all.
When you connect your iphone to your computer, wait for itunes to recognize your iphone.
Once itunes sees your iphone, click on the info tab.
In the contacts section, put a check mark in Sync Contacts with, and change the drop down to yahoo address book.
A configure button should show beside the drop down.
click on the configure button and a window will come up asking for your Yahoo address book information.
If this option for syncing to Yahoo address book does not show up, click on edit and choose preferences.
In the preferences window, click on the syncing tab and click the button to reset sync history.
Once sync history is reset, try setting the option to sync to Yahoo address book again.
This did not help. I have never had the option of sync'ing my yahoo calander to my iPhone, which I want to do badly. When I followed your instructions above it just gave iTunes my ID and password to access my yahoo account. Has apple ever wanted yahoo calander users to sync to the iPhone?
Sorry seeyainafew, I do believe that you need some type of 3rd party application to do this. The only things you can synch with Yahoo are the contacts and of course the mail.
