Wireless Hookup to AT&T 2Wire

Would anyone have the trick to hooking up the ipod touch to an AT&T Wireless 2Wire router? We have tried everything under the settings / wi-fi, but can't tell what we need to set up to get this to work with our router... Any help that you could give us would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you referring to the U-Verse wireless router? If so, go to settings in your Touch and wait for your router name to show up (2Wirexxx if you have not renamed it) select it and enter your WEP password, which will be a series of numbers on the back of the router if you have not changed it.

Its really no trick, I work with 2wire products everyday. You just need to make sure that you are putting on the correct WEP key. You can also contact customer support and they can walk you through making sure that you router settings are correct. One thing you can do if you computer is connected is type 192.168.1.254 into your address bar, and go into your Home Networking settings and making sure that you Wireless is Enabled. Try to mess with the wireless settings too just to make sure you get the best signal, I know channel 10 is usually the best channel to have it on.
