Import Outlook PST File into mail

Newbie Mac user here.

I have all my archived e-mail in Outlook 2000 saved into a PST file. How do I import that into mail? I can see the file when I go to import mail as "other", but the file selection is greyed out.

Is there some other format that I should be using? I don't want to import my e-mail addresses, that's all coming from my Blackberry, just my archived mail folder.

Try reading this article re: O2M on the mactech.com website:

You probably need to break up your import. Try exporting mail, contacts, and calendar into separate pst files in windows, and then import each one separately into mail. If that doesn't work, try breaking up mail into separate pst's for each primary folder.
